Swale Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) and Volunteer Centre

Swale CVS is the only organisation in Swale dedicated to serving voluntary organisations and those wanting to undertake voluntary work.

Working closely with some statutory partners who provided a small amount

of ‘core’ funding, we began life back in 1973 as one of the new Volunteer Bureaux  being set up to identify and place volunteers in a wide range of social and community organisations. Over the years, the Bureau expanded and after a variety of ‘homes’, we moved into our  current premises at Central House, Central Avenue in Sittingbourne and are now known as a Volunteer Centre.

We offer assistance, help and support to all prospective volunteers and voluntary organisations in Swale.
